We celebrate Christ's resurrection at Easter, but His resurrection, which is our Christian foundation, should be celebrated all year long. This praise banner measures 38" X 62". Full size pattern. The banner pattern also includes full size patterns for lettering, flowers, leaves and grasses. Lettering reads:  "I Am the Resurrection and the Life."

Jesus spoke of being the Vine several times throughout the gospels. This banner portrays the grape vine winding around the trellis with ripe clusters of clinging grapes. Using Quick Bias and Heat'n'Bond, the rocks, houses and lighthouse were constructed and attached to the solid background. John 8:12 is spelled out in cursive lettering. This is a full size lighthouse banner pattern measuring 38" x 62" and is an beginning to intermediate pattern. Included are detailed instructions along with all design and lettering patterns.

2 I Am the Bread of Life - Full Size Pattern (Pattern Only)I Am the Bread of Life - Full Size Pattern (Pattern Only)This fabric banner can be used along with the True Vine banner for communion or as one in the I Am series. You'll learn how to make a banner using Heat'n'Bond applique' methods and Quick Bias techniques as you construct the bread, detailed wheat and lettering for the verse from John 6:35. All design pieces use Heat'n'Bond or Quick Bias to construct the pictures and lettering which spells out John 11:26. The detail involved in this Christian church banner pattern will take some patience, but the end result is worth the effort. This full size pattern measures 38" x 62" and includes instructions with pattern pieces for leaves, grasses, flowers and lettering. A beginner/intermediate level pattern.

4 I Am the True Vine - Full Size Pattern (Pattern Only)I Am the True Vine - Full Size Pattern (Pattern Only)The last in the I Am series, the I Am the True Vine Christian banner displays the clustered grape vine winding around the wooden brace. This fabric banner can be used to compliment the Bread of Life banner for communion, can stand alone or will finish the I Am set. Applique' pieces are attached using Heat'n'Bond. Pattern comes complete with directions and pattern pieces for grapes, leaves and lettering.  Measures 38" x 62" and is a beginning to intermediate level.

Want to see how easy making a praise banner really is? This slide show gives step by step instructions for making The Announcement banner, the most complicated of the banners. You'll discover it isn't as difficult as it looks and is a relatively simple process that most anyone can complete using the Heat'n'Bond Quick Bias. The slideshow is about six minutes long. Banner Supplies
As you begin making Christian banners you will need to consider specific tools that will make your project a success and lend a professional finish to your work.  Below are a few suggestions of banner supplies you should keep in your sewing room to use as needed.

Basic Sewing Supplies:
  • Large and small dressmaker shears;  paper scissors; rotary cutter; matt board; washout fabric marking pen.  Tape measure; quilters straight pins; seam guage; seam ripper; pencils; pen; paper; hand sewing needles. Soap slivers; iron; ironing board; cutting and pressing table; quilters square; sewing machine manual; and extra machine needles.
In Addition to Standard Supplies:
  • Walking foot for your sewing machine; double needle; clover mini iron; pre-wound bobbins; clover quick bias tape; gold fringe; rotary squares; rotary cuttin rules; and a yardstick.
Additional Fabric and Yardage Items:
  • Heat'n'Bond Lite; black cotton fabric; muslin; cotton batting; lightweight fusible interfacing; and a roll of butcher paper. 
Collecting these banner supplies  will expedite your projects by being well-stocked and prepared before you begin your Christain banners.
