Preparing and Hanging Banners for Display
After completing your communion banners, you will need a good  plan for preparing them for display!  You want your Christain church banners to hang straight and evenly.

Hanging Banners:
  • Use a straight rod across the top to hang your banner.  You may use a drapery rod with fancy filials on the end, or a 1" X 2" board or dowel cut and set in from the edge of your banner.
  • Create a pocket on the back side of your banner, from your banner fabric, large enough to accomodate the size of the rod of your choice.  It should be 4 inches shorter than the total width of your finished banner.
  • Adding a pocket at the bottom of the banner to accomodate a 1/4 inch dowel will help your banner to hang perfectly straight and prevent any wavy edges.
  • Attach a string across the top outside edges for your banner display.
Banner Displays:
  • Mount directly on a wall using a small finish nail the color of the wall.
  • You may also display your banners on a stand so they can be moved around easily.
  • Enjoy the moment as you are hanging the banners you've spent hours creating.
You want your communion banners to hang evenly and attract attention to the creative banner display you've designed and brought to life!
